Overview
We are currently seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our team in a bustling resort, with 4 hotels, 18 lodges and a conference centre. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and be adept at preparing delicious dishes with the drive to develop and grow.
Duties
* Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with standard recipes
* Assist in all areas of food preparation as needed
* Ensure food safety standards are met throughout the cooking process
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to maintain smooth operations
* Contribute to the creation of new dishes and menu items
Requirements
* Proven experience as a similar role in a restaurant environment
* Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
* Proficiency in various cooking techniques and culinary skills
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
