As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Internal Sales Coordinator to play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our dynamic sales team.
About the Role:
We are looking for a confident and commercially aware Internal Sales Co-ordinator to join our team.
This role plays an important part in supporting our commercial function, with responsibility for managing and qualifying inbound enquiries. You will act as the first point of contact for customers, ensuring enquiries are handled professionally and efficiently while identifying opportunities to convert sales and support revenue growth. The role requires strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused approach to ensure seamless sales operations and maintain long-term client relationships.
Duties:
· Act as the professional first point of contact for enquiries received by phone, email and via our website.
· Handling inbound and outbound calls with confidence and professionalism.
· Gathering key information to understand customer requirements.
· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and order processing within the CRM system.
· Following up quotations and enquiries to maximise conversion.
· Passing strategic opportunities to the external sales team where appropriate.
· Support reporting on enquiry activity and sales performance.
· Collaborate with other departments such as marketing and operations, to enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills and Experience:
· Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and confident telephone manner.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software is desirable.
· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
· Customer-focused attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
· Previous experience in sales support or customer service roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
