Overview
We are hiring a Media Strategist to shape the future of media strategy for one of our largest and most influential global clients. This role sits at the heart of how brand and performance come together bringing clarity, consistency and ambition across complex EMEA markets. You’ll balance big‑picture strategic stewardship with hands‑on influence, helping teams and clients make better decisions through insight, craft and collaboration. Responsibilities
* Act as the senior strategic partner for a flagship global brand, providing retained guidance across full-funnel media activity
* Set clear strategic direction across EMEA markets, aligning local execution with shared regional and global objectives
* Turn data, research and market signals into actionable insight that improves effectiveness and investment decisions
* Lead and shape high‑profile standalone strategy projects, from communications frameworks to budget setting and channel prioritisation
* Play a central role in new business pitches, defining the strategic narrative and ensuring alignment across media, data and creativity
* Collaborate closely with planning, activation, analytics and account teams to ensure strategy is delivered with consistency and quality
* Coach and develop talent, helping to build a strong, future‑ready planning and strategy capability
Qualifications
* Strong experience in media strategy or planning, with openness to different career paths and backgrounds
* Confidence elevating media discussions to broader business, brand and communications challenges
* Proven ability to work across offline and online channels within complex, multi‑market environments
* Experience partnering with senior clients and stakeholders, building trust through clarity and thoughtful challenge
* A collaborative mindset, able to bring together specialists and agencies around a shared strategic vision
* Comfort using research, insight and planning tools to inform decision‑making (tools matter less than how you use them)
* Clear communication and storytelling skills, able to translate strategy into compelling narratives that influence action
