Job Overview
The post holder will support the Occupational Health & Wellbeing team in delivering Occupational Health & Wellbeing services for the health board and external contracts. Welsh language skills are desirable; applications from English and Welsh speakers are equally welcome.
Main duties include:
* Conducting employment screening and vaccinations
* Providing advice on infection control, occupational, and lifestyle health
* Supporting health and wellbeing activities such as health roadshows and flu vaccination campaigns
* Performing health surveillance activities like vision, lung function, and audiometry screening
Effective communication, confidentiality, diplomacy, and discretion are essential. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00, with flexibility for early/late shifts and coverage at various locations within BCUHB.

Qualifications
* Essential: UK NMC Registered Nurse
Desirable: Occupational Health experience
Experience
* Essential: NHS post-qualification experience
Desirable: Experience in occupational health/screening, applying health & wellbeing advice.
Skills
* Confidential advice, effective communication, record-keeping, teamwork, policy adherence, initial support in distress, presentation skills.
Desirable: Advice-giving, multidisciplinary work, IT skills, Welsh language, presentation skills.
Knowledge
* Essential: Lifestyle advice, injections, emergency procedures.
Desirable: Lifestyle advice, immunization, blood sampling, standards of care writing.
