Location: Remote role with travel across sites across Wiltshire and surrounding areas.
Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Help Apprentices Succeed and Stay on Track
Do you have a passion for coaching and guiding learners through their training journey? We’re looking for a Motor Vehicle Skills Assessor to play a key role in supporting apprentices, helping them progress, stay engaged, and achieve their qualifications.
You’ll be central to helping apprentices reach their goals and ensuring programmes meet all awarding body and regulatory standards.
What You’ll Do
Day-to-day, you’ll:
* Step in to provide continuity of delivery when additional support is required.
* Motivate and coach learners who are off-track, ensuring they complete every part of their programme.
* Carry out progress reviews with apprentices who need targeted support or who are without an allocated coach.
* Plan and deliver engaging learner workshops to boost progression.
* Maintain compliance with awarding organisations, ESFA, and Ofsted requirements.
What You’ll Bring
Essential:
* Substantial experience as a qualified assessor.
* Strong background in the motor vehicle/mechanical sector.
* Good knowledge of work-based learning programmes.
Qualifications:
* Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement (or equivalent).
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above.
* Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanics (minimum).
Security Clearance
