Position Overview
Full‑time, temporary teaching position (maternity cover) within the primary curriculum, expected to last until the summer term 2027 (31 May 2027). Start date 1 September 2026.
Responsibilities
* Teach primary curriculum to pupils, delivering engaging and effective lessons.
* Facilitate each pupil’s recognition, development and fulfilment of academic potential.
* Support the learning of individual students, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
* Contribute to the school’s pastoral system, promoting wellbeing and positive behaviour.
* Work within a joyful, vibrant and caring community to nurture curiosity, creativity and ambition.
Qualifications
* Qualified teaching credential and experience within primary education (or equivalent).
* Willingness to undergo child protection checks, including online searches, past employer references and DBS checks.
* Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* Evidence of right to work in the UK.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
