The role is part of Falcon For IT, a cloud-based solution that helps IT & Security teams answer questions about infrastructure, apps and endpoints, leveraging Charlotte AI to ease usability and speed up response and remediation of issues. The product integrates with our Sensor, a driver installed on client machines that observes system activity and apps, recognizes malicious behavior and provides on-box prevention and remote telemetry to the cloud.
We are looking for a UI Developer who can build and maintain immersive front-end applications and who views themselves as a team player with technical proficiency in visualization technologies.
What You’ll Do
* Collaborate with fellow team members to design, develop and build front-end applications that integrate with our research systems.
* Work closely with operational engineering teams to transfer work to production.
* Take ownership and be accountable for deliverables as a proactive self-starter.
* Work as part of a distributed team of remote workers across time zones.
* Develop interactive prototypes for testing and demonstration.
* Develop asynchronous and real-time collaborative applications.
* Explore and work with immersive and forward-thinking technologies.
* Contribute to the open-source community when appropriate.
* Opportunities to attend relevant conferences, training and workshops.
What You’ll Need
* Degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or commensurate professional experience).
* 4+ years of UI development experience.
* Strong foundations in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and experience with web frameworks.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working remotely.
* Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and presenting results.
* Experience integrating front-end applications with internal/external APIs.
Bonus Points
* Contributions to open-source communities (GitHub, Stack Overflow, blogging).
* Prior experience in cybersecurity or intelligence fields.
* Experience with asynchronous and distributed technologies.
* Experience with API development.
* Specialty in specific internal OS architectures (Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, etc.).
