Bench Hand Joiner - Bradford
Location: Bradford
Salary: £15.50 - £17.00 per hour (PAYE, negotiable based on experience) + holiday pay
Type: Ongoing Temp Work (with potential for a permanent role)
Key Responsibilities
- Construct and assemble high-quality custom joinery, furniture, and exhibition stands based on technical drawings.
- Perform on-site modifications and adjustments to ensure perfect fit and finish.
- Work on shop-fitting projects and commercial installations.
- Fabricate solid surfaces as required.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and specifications.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in high-quality bench joinery or furniture making (2-3 years).
- NVQ qualification in joinery, or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional carpentry and joinery skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Solid surface fabrication experience preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm or 7:00am to 4:30pm.
- Some Saturdays required during busy periods.
- Optional shifts available: 7:00am - 7:00pm, including weekends if you want extra hours.
