Summary
This role is all about high standards, care and attention to detail. We’re looking for a Holidays Operation Team Leader to take the lead in presenting and looking after the National Trust’s holiday cottages in the Surrey Hills. This area covers Polesden Lacey and Hindhead.
Salary: £13.25 per hour
Contract Duration: Permanent
Working Hours: 10 hours per week, Monday to Saturday. The working pattern will vary from week to week to meet business needs and accommodate cottage changeovers.
Interview Date: Tuesday 5th May 2026 at Polesden Lacey.

What you'll be doing
You'll be focused on making sure that our operations are compliant with health and safety. You’ll be familiar with working to risk assessments, COSHH procedures, accident reporting and fire safety. You'll help to coordinate maintenance work and repairs, making sure our cottages look their best for our guests, and that all our guest materials are up to date and in good order.
You'll work with the Holidays Manager and the Holidays Assistant Managers in the area to provide a service that’s efficient, effective and flexible. You’ll be ensuring there’s cover for changeovers and that we always meet our high standards in line with our Holidays changeover guide.
The role may also include helping with changeovers in cottages, and some Saturday cover when needed.
