Overview
An established manufacturing and precision engineering partner to tier-1 power and aerospace customers is looking to bring in an aerospace focused Project Engineer with strong NPDI experience into their team. The project is a full-time Monday to Friday role, anticipated to last 9 months, and is an hourly paid role, paid weekly. 39 hour standard working week, with additional hours possibly required as part of achieving project completion within the desired timescales. Immediate start for the successful applicant. Pay rates advertised are umbrella values.
Responsibilities
* Owning and delivering all engineering related actions to support a successful delivery of new product into manufacturing.
* Creating planning
* Creating SWI's
* Creating SOP's
* Creating stage drawings
* Owning tool delivery, implementation and liaising between operations and engineering/tool makers on actions to resolve/improve
* Providing FAIR information to the quality team for submission
* Planning development batches through manufacturing to prove out proposed methods of manufacture and tooling
* Implement corrective actions to any non-conformances through development to deliver a fully conforming FAIR - on time.
ERP software experience is advantageous.
Experience / Qualifications
* Aerospace manufacturing experience
* Demonstrable project delivery background
* ERP software experience advantageous
Interview process
* Stage 1 - 30 minute TEAMS with site operations lead
* Stage 2 - On site tour and deeper dive into the role and expectations
