Teaching Assistant Location: West Midlands, West Midlands, Birmingham Job Type: Temporary, expected to work full-time hours Salary: £83 - £85 per day Skills: SEN TA Job Duties: Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering lessons Assisting students with special educational needs (SEN) Helping to create a positive learning environment Providing one-on-one support to students as needed Assisting with classroom management and behaviour Required Qualifications: A relevant teaching assistant qualification Experience working with students with SEN Good communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths Experience: Prior experience as a teaching assistant in a similar setting Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN strategies and techniques Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong organisational skills Preferred Qualifications: First Aid certification Additional training in SEN support Working Conditions: This role involves working in a classroom setting with students of varying abilities and needs.
