An established and growing accountancy practice in Lancashire is looking for an experienced Senior Practice Accountant to join the team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can come in, take ownership of their work, and support the wider team. You'll work closely with Practice Managers to help keep workflows on track, deal with queries, and ensure work is completed to a high standard and delivered on time.
The role will involve:
* Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients
* Reviewing accounts prepared by junior team members
* Supporting Practice Managers with day-to-day delivery of client work
* Handling client queries, including more complex technical issues
* Assisting with workflow management to ensure deadlines are met
* Maintaining high standards across all work leaving the practice
What they're looking for:
* Minimum 5+ years' experience within an accountancy practice (essential)
* Strong experience preparing and reviewing accounts
* Confident dealing with technical queries and problem-solving
* Able to work independently and manage your own workload
* Organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
