We are looking for a talented People Support Administrator to join our team specializing in Human Resources in the People Support Department in Huddersfield, United Kingdom. This is a 10‑month fixed‑term contract, 37.5 hours per week, with 60% on‑site expectation and 2 days working from home.
Responsibilities
* Streamlining HR Processes: working within defined processes and procedures to ensure efficient support for employees, enhancing productivity.
* Ensuring Data Accuracy: conducting regular data‑entry audits and maintaining accurate workforce information in HR systems to enable informed decisions and compliance.
* Supporting Employee Inquiries: resolving common HR inquiries, thereby providing essential support to employees and contributing to a positive work environment.
* Facilitating Recruitment: coordinating recruiting activities, updating the applicant tracking system, and conducting reference checks to attract and onboard top talent.
* Enhancing Onboarding Experience: coordinating new‑hire orientation assignments and activities to ensure a smooth and welcoming process for new employees.
* Administering Compensation and Benefits: partnering with shared services and corporate HR to manage compensation and benefits processes, ensuring fair and accurate compensation.
* Ensuring Compliance: assisting in the administration of HR policies and procedures and auditing compliance with legislative requirements to maintain a lawful and ethical workplace.
* Supporting Internal Audits and Investigations: coordinating and assisting with internal audit requests and documenting investigations to improve HR operations integrity.
Qualifications
* High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience that meets applicable regulations.
* Some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
* Solid background in HR administration, effectively managing HR processes such as handling general queries, managing employee absences, processing changes/leavers, and maintaining employee records.
* HR qualification: obtaining or currently studying towards a CIPD Level 3 or above, ensuring necessary knowledge and skills to support HR activities.
* Strong collaboration and teamwork skills to work effectively within a team of People Support Administrators and with external teams such as eTime, Payroll, and Total Rewards.
* Adaptability and efficiency: ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment and to execute tasks and projects while adapting to changing priorities and demands.
