Overview
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to work effectively with both hand and power tools. This role is essential in producing high-quality metal components and assemblies, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and specifications.
Duties
* Perform TIG and Stick welding on various materials, ensuring strong and precise welds.
* Fabricate components from sheet metal according to technical drawings and specifications.
* Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts.
* Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality control standards are met.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
* Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication or welding process.
Experience
* Proven experience in welding and fabrication, with a strong understanding of TIG and Stick welding techniques.
* Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment is essential.
* Mechanical knowledge is crucial for interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
* Basic math skills are necessary for accurate measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks.
