We are currently seeking to appoint a District Caretaker (Scale 4) to join our District Caretaking service within Facilities Services based at the Westgate in Skelmersdale. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team who are focused on making a difference to our local area. You will use a full range of handheld plant including, strimmers, hedge trimmers, blowers and jet washes. You will have a clear understanding and knowledge of basic DIY. You must have a clean, full driving licence. You will have experience of working as part of a manual operational service and the ability to undertake tasks as directed to a high standard and be committed to health and safety and adherence to policy and procedures. If you think you are up to the challenge, we would love to hear from you. Hours of work are 8.30am - 4.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.30am - 4pm Friday. You may be required to work outside of these hours on occasions to meet the needs of the service.
