Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out general building repairs and maintenance
2. Basic plumbing and electrical works
3. Painting and decorating
4. Lighting maintenance and statutory testing
5. Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timeframes
6. Manage and maintain statutory testing records
7. Respond appropriately to H&S matters and report incidents correctly
8. Monitor the electronic maintenance reporting system daily
9. Log and update all maintenance tasks and records accurately
10. Maintain stock levels of tools, spares and supplies
11. Ensure communal areas are maintained to a high standard
12. Inspect common parts of the building regularly
13. Support with gardens and grounds maintenance where required
Ideal Candidate:
14. Proven experience in building maintenance / facilities maintenance / building trade
15. Confident carrying out general repairs independently
16. Good understanding of Health & Safety
17. Organised and methodical approach
18. Comfortable using basic IT systems (Outlook, Word, Excel desirable)
19. Self-motivated with a positive attitude
