Role Overview


GSK are looking for a Procurement Sustainability Data Coordinator to join the team at GSK HQ in London. This role will support supplier data transformation and ingestion into the Scope 3 model, enabling emissions reporting in collaboration with the central sustainability function. It will involve screening public data sources, improving machine learning algorithms for spend categorization, and enhancing emissions data quality. The role also supports KPI assurance, audit preparation, and development of EUDR compliance data strategy.





Key Responsibilities


* Execution of supplier data transformation and ingestion to Scope 3 model in collaboration with central sustainability function, to allow suppliers decarbonization data/ progress ingestion to GSK reporting (supplier specific emissions or GSK specific emissions transformation to meet the defined data standards and data quality checks, execution of data approval and ingestion).
* Efficient and effective public data sources screening for data GSK can use in supplier emission reporting
* Improve machine learning algorithms in cooperation with Procurement Data Team, to ensure correct spend categorization at entry stage to Scope 3 model, to improve emissions data quality and enable reduction through data improvement/re-baselining and allow better Procurement decisions in regards to future decarbonization interventions with suppliers
* KPI assurance - supporting preparation, audit and closing CAPAs for H2 2025 planned A&A Audit on Sustainable Sourcing and Deloitte audits on Paper/Palm and Sustainable Sourcing; - Supporting development and operationalization of EUDR compliance data strategy





Role Complexity


* Senior stakeholders facing and influencing (Director, Senior Directors, and occasionally VPs across Procurement Central Sustainability Team; potentially Tech and Finance).
* Global coverage and network
* Cross-functional dependencies and Procurement-wide dependencies.
* Strategic program contribution.
* Collaboration with peer companies.
* Required stakeholder management and influencing competences and ability to work autonomously and seek for decision in the right moment of time.





Qualifications & Skills


* Demonstrated competence in data science, analytics, systems, and data assurance, including: Process setup and assurance, and data custodian responsibilities.
* Proven ability to build robust data management processes, combining expertise in both data and Procurement, to support CO₂ reduction through improved emissions data. This includes: Aligning emissions data with the nature of spend, and defining process flows and ownership with Procurement processes in mind.
* Basic to intermediate understanding of the environmental data landscape


Key Deliverables:


* Data assurance readiness for Procurement-delivered KPIs
* Data-driven support for compliance with key regulations, including EUDR, CBAM, CSDDD, CSRD.
