The Opportunity
A new exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager / Campaign Planner to join our award winning, integrated communications agency based in Southampton.
Our creative campaigns and brand projects bring together a wide range of marketing routes and means they cover both traditional and digital marketing practices, however the role leans towards someone with experience of creative and brand management/campaigns who is comfortable in creative and brand strategy and managing creative-led projects across both traditional and digital marketing activities.
This role would suit someone with creative flair, who has experience geared towards curation, account management or project management for creative marketing and brand development.
The successful candidate needs to be highly organised, and able to deliver multiple projects at once. Demonstrating the flexibility to adapt quickly to different audiences and channels.
You will have strong project management skills and experience liaising with senior stakeholders, to provide constructive challenge and gate-keep complex decision making. Highly personable, able to work effectively with a variety of different people.

Role responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
* Developing and managing brand projects and integrated campaigns and the day-to-day client partner relationship through effective communication, problem solving and responding to requests in a timely manner.
* Act as the primary point of contact between our client partners and our agency.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with our client partners, becoming a trusted member of their extended team.
* Provide regular communication, both in-person and online, to ensure that the client partners needs and objectives are being met, and that they are satisfied with our work.
* Keep the client up-to-date with insightful industry and product knowledge.
* Develop and manage a diverse range of projects, campaigns and on-going retainers, including responsibility for timelines, budgets, and deliverables, communicating and seeking approval of any changes to these.
* Communicate and coordinate activities with the digital, marketing, social and PR teams, ensuring that everyone is working towards the same goals.
* Keep internal project management systems up-to-date and ensure projects and tasks are delivered on time.
* Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all work is delivered to the highest possible standard and to agreed KPIs.
* Analyse campaign performance to optimise results.
* Be responsible for guiding and managing creative projects through to delivery. This role will help manage resource (people and budgets) across all campaigns and projects to ensure work is delivered on-brief, on-budget and on-time.
* Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders, client partners and management at all levels with confidence to bring ideas to the table
* Ensure that all work coming into the creative and design team has compelling and creative briefs to inspire the team
* Create project timelines to ensure work is completed to time and budget and include with the scope of work and meets the client partners needs as laid out in the brief. Hold teams accountable to deadlines.
* Work with our client partners to understand their business goals and objectives, developing exciting strategies that align with those objectives.
* Collaborate with all agency teams to develop effective marketing plans and roadmaps including conducting research and analysing data.
* Gain a comprehensive understanding of the client’s market environment.
* Strong understanding of branding, development and strategies
Reporting
* Work with agency teams to ensure campaign performance reporting and presentation of results is delivered in a clear and concise manner.
* Agree key performance indicators, develop reports, and provide insights and contribute to recommendations for future campaigns.
* Organise and run meetings, setting agendas to ensure things run to plan.
* Provide meeting summaries/notes to client partners following meetings so decisions and next actions are recorded.
* Develop proposals and estimates to ensure we bill clients accurately, maintaining projections and updating finance systems as required.
* Identify ways to grow client accounts through new business opportunities and market research.
Other responsibilities
* Undertake continuing professional development and mandatory training, to ensure you keep your knowledge, expertise and experience up to date.
* To present and promote a professional public image in representing the agency.
* Oversee and mentor the work and performance of junior team member e.g. Account Executive.
* To undertake any other duties that may reasonably be required, appropriate with the post.
* You may be expected to participate in events and promotions where the team requires representation; sometimes helping out with the organisation of the events upfront. Some of these may be outside of your normal working hours.
* Participation in the Agency Appraisal Scheme and undertaking any professional development as identified with your line manager.
* To adhere to the company handbook and comply with relevant legislation.
Required experience
