Position: In-House Commercial Property Solicitor
Role Type: Full-Time, 12 month FTC
Salary guide: up to £90,000 per annum (DOE) + Car Allowance + Full Benefits
Location: Remote working, with one day per month office based
Our client is currently seeking to hire an In-House Commercial Property Solicitor on a 12-month FTC. This is a predominately remote working opportunity offering excellent flexibility, a competitive salary, car allowance, and a full suite of employee benefits.
This role offers the chance to advise on a broad, high-value commercial property portfolio, including acquisitions, disposals, leases, licenses, easements, and estates management. Ideal for a confident, commercially minded property solicitor looking for a hands-on in-house role in a dynamic and fast-paced business.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise on commercial property transactions across a diverse UK portfolio.
* Draft and negotiate heads of terms, leases, licences, easements, and freehold transfers.
* Lead on legal due diligence for acquisitions, leaseholds, and wider commercial tenders.
* Provide practical legal input on landlord & tenant matters, including terminations, breaks, rent reviews and alterations.
* Manage SDLT filings and Land Registry applications.
* Advise on estates management issues including boundary disputes, rights of way, and compulsory purchase orders.
* Work with external legal and professional advisers on more complex transactions.
* Ensure all legal property transactions are progressed and completed efficiently.
Candidate Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor with four years plus PQE and solid commercial property experience.
* Candidates will be considered with either an In-House or private practice background,
* You will have a strong understanding of landlord and tenant and end-to-end property transaction processes.
* Be commercially astute, pragmatic, and able to balance legal risk with business objectives.
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative in-house setting.
