Job Title: GCSE SEN Outreach Tutor Location: East of England, Essex, Wickford Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Job Duties: Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in GCSE English and Maths Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to enhance students' understanding and skills Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities Monitor progress, provide feedback, and adjust teaching methods accordingly Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure holistic development of students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Specialist knowledge in GCSE English and Maths curriculum Experience working with students with SEN Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in SEN education Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN strategies and best practises Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Strong organisational and time-management skills Proficient in using technology for educational purposes Working Conditions: Part-time hours with flexibility in schedule Work primarily in learners homes, local libraries or schools Travel to different locations within the East of England All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
