We are working exclusively with our global client to recruit a dynamic and commercially focused Finance Director. This is a rare opportunity to join the UK Senior Leadership Team and play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health and strategic direction of the organisation. About the Role As Finance Director, you’ll operate as a Statutory Director and Company Data Protection Officer (DPO), overseeing all aspects of financial control and ensuring full compliance with Group standards, UK legislation (GAAP, SOX/JSOX), and internal controls. You will lead the Finance team and collaborate closely with UK General Managers and the EMEA CFO to provide financial insight, strategic support, and operational leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting across UK operations Direct the Finance function, covering management accounts, payroll, treasury, AP/AR, and credit control Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing insights on performance, risks, and opportunities Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, audits, HMRC obligations, and internal control frameworks (SOX/JSOX) Oversee cost control, CAPEX, margin analysis, and efficiency improvements in manufacturing Own financial systems and tools (HFM, GMA, ERP-LN, iOLAP), ensuring they support business objectives Lead compliance for Data Protection, Bribery Act, and other corporate governance duties Manage recruitment, development, and performance processes for the Finance team Promote company values, health & safety, and continuous improvement across the department ✅ What We’re Looking For Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) Extensive experience in senior finance roles within a complex, multi-functional business Strong understanding of UK GAAP, statutory reporting, and audit requirements Expert knowledge of ERP systems and analytical/reporting tools (e.g., Excel, iOLAP) Proven leadership and people management skills with a track record of team development Strategic thinker with commercial awareness and operational understanding Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities Familiarity with the Companies Act 2006 and responsibilities of a Statutory Director What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package A key leadership role in a values-driven, forward-thinking organisation Opportunities for ongoing professional development and CPD Supportive and collaborative senior leadership team The chance to make a significant impact in a dynamic and evolving environment Apply now to shape the future of our finance function and help drive strategic success across the UK business
