Position

An opportunity has arisen for a Personal Assistant to support the Director of Acute Services. This post is offered on a permanent basis.


Hours

36 hours per week.


What You Will Do

You will provide dedicated, professional and comprehensive administration support to the Director to fulfil their role by providing high level business and administrative support, progressing actions on their behalf efficiently and to a high standard. Your role will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the Director’s office. You will work closely with the Director of Acute Services, as well as senior staff across the organisation, and will have strong links with a range of stakeholders, including Scottish Government colleagues.


Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required For This Post

* To deliver a high standard of executive and administrative support to the Director for Acute Services, ensuring a consistently proactive, effective, and professional approach.
* To act as the primary point of contact for the Director for Acute Services and the Acute Services Directorate.
* To manage highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion, demonstrating tact and diplomacy, and ensuring all actions are completed efficiently and to a high professional standard.
* The post holder will operate autonomously and proactively, providing advice and using their own initiative to fulfil the duties of the role.
