Job Description Summary
As a Tender & Bid Administrator, you will support the UK & Ireland Tender & Bid team in the end-to-end management of tender and bid submissions across all BD business units. Your role is key to ensuring high-quality, timely submissions that enable BD to deliver value-driven solutions to customers and patients. You will assist in gathering and consolidating commercial, financial, and technical information to support the team in delivering successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Support the complete tender and bid lifecycle, ensuring accurate and timely submissions across all BD business units.
* Collect and consolidate relevant information throughout the tender cycle to meet submission and evaluation requirements.
* Maintain and update the BD Tender & Bid Database with standard responses (‘model answers’).
* Assist with the preparation of regular reports on the contract, tender, and bid pipeline.
* Promote and contribute to initiatives related to ESG, Sustainability, and Social Value.
* Ensure compliance with internal tender and bid processes and external legal requirements.
* Collaborate effectively with internal teams and departments to gather information and input.
* Support continuous improvement of tender processes through feedback and documentation.
About You
* Previous experience in a contract, tender, or bid support role, ideally within a healthcare environment.
* Understanding of NHS procurement processes is advantageous.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams.
* Proven interest or experience in ESG, Sustainability, or Social Value initiatives.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with TenderEyes and SharePoint is desirable.
* A-Level education or equivalent qualification.
