TP Tutors are currently working with the Local Authority in Hartlepool to seek a confident and compassionate tutor. This tutor will need to have extensive experience working with SEND children in order to provide education for a child who is currently out of a mainstream setting. Tutor Requirements : Experience of working with ASD and SEMH needs Confident working with challenging behaviour and apply behaviour strategies accordingly Professional Teaching Qualification is preferred (QTS) or significant tutoring experience An enhanced Child Workforce only DBS on the update service or willingness to purchase one via TP Tutors The Role: Planning and delivering engaging 1:1 sessions Assess the child’s progress and provide constructive feedback Work alongside child’s EHCP and adapt teaching style accordingly Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, progress and achievements via LEAP reports Benefits of working with TP Tutors : Flexible part-time hours to suit your schedule.
