The company ensures total traceability of livestock, their husbandry, and welfare, aligning with the exacting standards demanded by today's consumers. Your Responsibilities as a Maintenance Engineer;Lead daily briefings with on-site engineering and maintenance technicians to coordinate task distribution, review safety protocols, and address immediate operational requirements.Participate in the daily AOS (Active Operations Strategy) meeting alongside the Operations department to ensure cross-functional alignment on key updates, performance metrics, and strategic goals.Plan, delegate, and oversee daily and weekly maintenance schedules, optimising resource allocation to ensure timely execution of both routine and ad hoc tasks.Compile and submit comprehensive weekly performance reports, detailing task completion rates, downtime analysis, and improvement actions to support continuous operational efficiency.Perform both preventative and reactive maintenance on critical infrastructure including high-bay racking systems, industrial ammonia refrigeration units, and other mechanical systems to minimise downtime and maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.Monitor and interpret data from SCADA to detect anomalies, track system performance, and support proactive decision-making. As a Maintenance Engineer, ideally you will have;An Electrical, Mechanical or Refrigeration qualification.Ideally, experience with SCADAIdeally experience working within a food or packaging environment.
