Family Solicitor - Legal 500
Location: West London - hybrid
Salary: £40-50,000
OVERVIEW
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor to join a highly regarded, multi-office Legal 500 firm. The firm is recognised for its strong reputation in family and childcare law, modern working practices, and supportive team culture.
You will manage a varied caseload with a focus on public and private children matters, including Care Proceedings and PLO cases, while also handling private family work. This is an ideal role for a solicitor who can work independently, undertake their own advocacy, and is keen to develop their profile within a growing team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage a caseload including Care Proceedings, PLO matters and Private Law Children cases.
* Advise and represent clients in Domestic Abuse matters, including Non-Molestation and Occupation Orders.
* Handle general family matters, including divorce, financial issues and cohabitation disputes.
* Undertake your own advocacy where appropriate.
* Contribute to business development and networking initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
* Solicitor 3PQE+ in family/childcare law.
* Experience in publicly funded work and understanding of legal aid.
* Confident working independently and as part of a team.
* Willing to work towards panel accreditation.
* Commercially aware, with the ability to generate private work.
