Our Story
Manchester City Women is an English football club initially founded by City in the Community in 1988. Relaunched by a formal partnership with Manchester City FC, MCWFC entered the FA Women’s Super League and professionalised in 2014. Success has followed in not only the FAWSL but also the Women’s FA Cup and Continental Tyres League Cup, while the team has regularly competed in the UEFA Women’s Champions League.
The team plays its home fixtures at Joie Stadium, a 7,000 capacity arena. The stadium sits on the wider Etihad Campus, which also encompasses the City Football Academy, a state-of-the-art training and development facility that houses its women’s, men’s and academy teams.

Our Winning Team
We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and driven coach to join our Girls Academy, supporting the development of talented young players. Primarily working with a designated age group (U9–U14), you will collaborate closely with the wider Academy coaching team to help deliver a cohesive and effective player pathway.
Key responsibilities include delivering and adapting the academy’s coaching curriculum in line with the Club’s playing philosophy, working within the coaches’ competency framework, engaging in ongoing CPD training, and liaising with Lead Phase Coaches to support smooth transitions between age groups. You will also contribute to multi-disciplinary planning to ensure a holistic development approach across all areas of the programme.

What we are looking for
6. Minimum of a FA Level 2 / UEFA C Licence, ideally looking for a UEFA B Licence
7. FA Youth Award and FA Advanced Youth Award
8. EFAiF (Emergency First Aid in Football) qualification
