Role duties and responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Quality Assurance Inspector at Kent Pharma include, but are not limited to:
To provide and support the QA activities for the Production Unit and Warehouse.
To provide, as required administration support for the Quality Management Systems; in particular the handling of products and documentation related to EU and Third Country products requiring QP / RPi release
Support the Quality Management Systems and licence compliance for Kent-Athlone group sites, including:
Carry out the required level of in process NHS HOL Quality Assurance checks and record these accurately on the appropriate documentation.
To review completed batch records for NHS over labelling orders prior to submission to the QP for certification.
To ensure IPORs or non-conformances are generated where required and assist in investigation as necessary.
Review and approve master Overlabelling Specifications and label text designs.
Processing returns for over labelled stock.
Perform housekeeping and self-inspections of over labelling production areas
Review and control Over Labelling Technical Agreements with NHS customers to ensure compliance with approved template and SOP.
Management and control of rejected product / orders.
Logging customer complaints and assisting in complaint investigations as necessary.
Foster and promote GMP, GDP and the associated Quality Management Systems within the site.
Challenge ways of working to seek improved compliance and performance where necessary.
Skills and Experience (E: Essential, D: Desirable)

Excellent computer literacy, with experience in MS Office (E)
Ability to plan work across a series of deliverables and close out within expected timelines (E)
High standard of attention to detail (E)
Good understanding of the generic pharmaceutical business (D)
Quality Management experience in the pharmaceutical industry (D)
Education
GCSE English, Maths to Grade C or above
Other Requirements
A valid Passport* as some European travel may be necessary for external events, trade shows, meetings, conferences, etc.
