We’re looking for an Assistant Brand Manager – Corporate Marketing to join our team to help tell the Tegel story across New Zealand and beyond.
About the role
This is a hands-on, creative, and collaborative role where no two days are the same. You’ll support the development and delivery of communications initiatives that enhance Tegel’s brand reputation and presence. With a focus on internal communications, sponsorships, and community partnerships, you’ll help bring our corporate brand to life through storytelling and engagement.
You’ll get involved in a wide variety of projects, including:
1. Bringing Tegel’s corporate brand to life through creating and coordinating engaging content shared across our internal and external platforms
2. Partnering with our People & Culture team to create employee communications that inform, inspire, and celebrate our people, from newsletters and intranet stories to digital campaigns.
3. Collaborating with agencies to develop corporate brand assets for our sites that enhance their look and support our strategy
4. Maintaining the Tegel NZ website, keeping it fresh and engaging and supporting the maintenance of international market sites
5. Assisting with community initiatives, donations and activations with our charity partner, helping make a real difference where it matters most
6. Coordinating sponsorship activations, product deliveries, and related communication opportunities that connect Tegel with our partners and communities.
7. Managing our staff Sponsorship Fund, including gathering and sharing stories from recipients.
You’ll play a key role in shaping how Tegel shows up, creating content and supporting initiatives that bring our values to life: One Team One Direction, Hungry for Better, Do the Right Thing, and We Care.

8. We’re looking for someone who’s confident, creative, organised, and excited to make an impact. You’ll thrive in a dynamic environment and enjoy collaborating across teams to deliver great results.
9. A tertiary qualification in marketing or communications.
10. At least 1 year of experience in a brand, communications or digital marketing environment.
11. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to work across teams and levels.
12. Great attention to detail and a creative eye for brand storytelling.
13. Experience designing assets in Canva (or similar platforms).
14. Solid project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities with ease.
15. Experience using MS Office and comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
