The post holder will provide high quality secretarial and administrative support to the Specialist Children’s Services multi-disciplinary team, acting as a point of contact for all telephone calls from all levels of staff, general public, and a range of external organisations. The role is essential in assisting the smooth operation and efficiency of the service. The post holder will deal pleasantly with clients, members of the public and staff. The range of tasks will include: general typing of reports/letters/statistical information; use of electronic patient management system, arranging and amending appointments for patients both face to face and by telephone; updating databases, data input, recording management, filing, ordering of supplies, recording messages for clinicians and general office/reception duties as required.
