We have a very exciting and rare opportunity for a driven and experienced PR Media Relations Manager to join an award-winning integrated agency, giving you the opportunity to work across a range of dynamic client accounts in both the consumer and B2B space, and alongside a collaborative team of creatives, strategists, digital marketers, and content experts.
We’re after someone who thrives on crafting compelling narratives, building media contacts, and landing high-impact coverage. You’ll work closely with internal teams to deliver joined-up communications strategies and make a real difference to the brands you represent.
Your day-to-day will include:
Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their goals
Collaborating with creative, digital, and content teams
Creating press materials and pitching to the media
Monitoring for breaking stories and jumping on news hooks
Identifying proactive opportunities for comment and thought leadership
Preparing articles and press releases for the media and identifying and securing comment opportunities to achieve coverage
Building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists and editors
What we’re looking for:
Solid agency PR and media relations experience, experience across social and digital channels
An excellent track record of building and maintaining journalist relationships
Strong copywriting and editing skills
A good understanding of national, regional, and trade media
Confidence when presenting ideas and campaign strategies
Meticulous attention to detail and a proactive mindset
A strategic mindset and creative approach
