Administrator Apprentice - EMCOR UK

Location: Leeds

Salary: 1st Year: £21,000 per annum

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00

Contract Type: Apprenticeship, permanent, full-time

Role Overview

Provide timely and effective administrative support to the DHSC Leeds Site. Assist in the delivery of scheduled or ad hoc work functions and perform a range of support duties. The Admin function drives high levels of operational performance, customer engagement, and financial controls across the contract through strong communication and close relationships with management and operational teams.


What You’ll Do

* Assist in Absences and Overtime recording via Smartsheet and ADP
* Identify and respond to colleagues’ requirements via telephone and email
* Assist in Uniform ordering and distribution
* Ensure high input accuracy to maintain data integrity
* Ensure site communications are sent in a timely manner
* Maintain up-to-date training on system applications by attending courses or self-learning
* Maintain filing and archive systems
* Assist with training file management, filing and updates
* Handle queries from internal and external clients within set timelines and maintain high customer satisfaction
* Assist with general office duties such as stationery stock control
* Compile spreadsheets in Word or Excel for non-standard reporting
* Support team objectives, share knowledge with colleagues, and develop personal skills
* Maintain focus on excellent customer service delivery and knowledge of EMCOR products and services
* Contribute to continuous improvement of EMCOR’s standards, values and culture
* Time management to meet role demands
* Complete any reasonable request from management
* Other duties include floor-walking, setting up meeting rooms, hosting visitors, and reassigning lockers


Who You’ll Be

* Articulate, numerate, and preferably IT literate
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Basic understanding of Microsoft packages
* Resilient under pressure and able to converse confidently with staff, suppliers and customers at all levels
