Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and pro-active qualified practice nurse with respiratory nursing qualifications, to join the team based at Riverside Health Centre for 15 hours per week, ideally on a Tuesday morning and all day Wednesdays.
In addition to the duties normally expected of a practice nurse, the lead nurse will be responsible for overseeing the teams working day including duty nurse team, for managing and maximising ICB, PHE and NHSE driven targets.
The role will contribute to the improving quality of care of our patients across the network of practices.

Main duties of the job
* Management of clinics and staff to achieve targets.
* Asthma and COPD reviews and recalls.
* Stock management.
* Immunisations lead.
* Wound care and dressings.
* Administering immunisations including child immunisations.
* Contraception reviews.
* Cervical cytology.
