Job Description 36 hours per week
Salary: £33,550 – £40,073 per annum
This is an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join the School of Higher Education. This role will include teaching primarily across our established Health and Mental Health provision and will involve the course leadership of the Health Studies Programme (including Foundation Degree (HTQ) and Higher Apprenticeships students.
Applicants should have a degree, or higher, in a relevant discipline as well as professional experience in a relevant field. Ideally applicants should be a qualified teacher, or, if not, have the commitment to obtain an appropriate qualification. It would also be advantageous to have an understanding of apprenticeships as part of this role. Expertise in the following areas would be beneficial:

Anatomy and Physiology
Human Pathology
Health Promotion
Evidence Based Practice
Policy in Health
Human Growth and Development
Physical Assessment
You will be responsible for the teaching, development and planning of the curriculum area and implementing strategies for the delivery of an effective, high-quality curriculum.
