3. Manage procurement activities to ensure cost-effective purchasing aligned with organisational goals.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure favourable terms and agreements.
5. Monitor supply chain performance and address any issues effectively and efficiently.
6. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
7. Analyse market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
8. Prepare and review contracts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to organisational standards.
9. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast procurement needs and manage budgets effectively.
10. Provide regular reports and updates on procurement activities and performance metrics.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Officer should have:

11. Previous experience in procurement and supply chain management, ideally within the property industry but not essential.
12. Previous experience within the FM and professional services category is desirable.
13. Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
14. Knowledge of procurement policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
15. Proficiency in using procurement and supply chain management software.
16. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
17. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
