ULaw’s Student Information Team: At the Heart of Student Support and Success We are looking for a high-calibre individual to join our new Manchester Campus team as a Student Information Officer. This is an on-campus position, with no opportunity for hybrid or remote working. As a Student Information Officer, you will be playing a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to all stakeholders, both internal and external. You will be the first point of contact for students and will assists in accessing specialist services required throughout their on-course journey. We are looking for an individual who has a passion for helping others. You will have broad experience of working in a demanding, customer service driven environment and have the ability to ensure excellent outcomes for all students. As our Student Information Officer, you will: Provide information and support on a range of enquiries including those relating to new students transitioning to the campus and/or a new course, and all enquiries throughout the student journey. Work in collaboration with the University’s Student Immigration Compliance & Advice team to support international students. Understand other services available to students and how they can be accessed in order to effectively signpost and enable the best possible experience for each individual student. Resolve all queries and requests in an efficient manner in accordance with established service levels, referring on to and liaising with relevant specialist teams where required within agreed processes. We are looking for people who are/have: Relevant experience in the provision of high-quality customer service support and advice to students, staff and visitors The ability to manage own time effectively to meet tight deadlines and manage conflicting priorities Experience of providing information, advice and guidance to individuals on a one-to-one basis Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing and with a wide range of people. Please note: This is an on-campus role, with no opportunity of hybrid/remote working. The successful candidate will also be expected to cover weekend duties on a rota’d basis.
