The role:
To shape and deliver the organisation’s strategy, including mobilising support and resources, building influential partnerships,
To deliver visionary leadership in line with the organisation’s mission and new strategy.
To drive campaigns, advocacy, and influence UK and international policy.
To strengthen and expand partnerships with in-country organisations, UK diaspora communities, and solidarity networks, including trade unions.
To raise the organisation’s profile and expand its supporter base through compelling public engagement and fundraising.
The candidate:
Proven leadership in campaigning, international solidarity and/or movement building, ideally with a focus on gender justice and equality.
Strong experience and/or understanding of gender justice, structural racism and intersectionality.
Knowledge of solidarity movements.
Ability to fundraise, including drafting funding applications to trusts and other potential donor organisations.
Familiarity with the UK political, media, and philanthropic landscape.
