Job Details
* Job Summary: Reporting to the Head of Project Planning, providing consultancy to Project Managers and Engineering teams on project plans.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with Project Managers and Engineers to develop resource plans using Primavera, adhering to company standards.
* Lead resource planning meetings and coordinate with resource managers for staffing and utilization.
* Develop detailed budgets aligned with project plans and monitor project progress.
* Assist in reporting progress to stakeholders, analyze project trends, and report schedule slippages.
* Support resource planning, earned value, and critical path reporting processes.
* Contribute to proposal preparations and ensure plan accuracy and realism.
* Build relationships with stakeholders, support monthly reporting, and participate in project reviews.
* Update planning standards and train project managers in their application.
* Travel as required for meetings at customer and Cubic sites.
* Adhere to Cubic's values and policies, including safety, security, and conduct.
Minimum Requirements:
* Experience in a busy planning role, proficient with Primavera P6 and MS Projects.
* Knowledge of project management principles, including earned value management.
* Experience working with large, complex teams, ideally in engineering or IT environments.
Qualifications:
* Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline; APM Practitioner or Prince2 certification is a plus.

* Self-motivated, quick learner, and effective communicator.
* Strong negotiation skills, detail-oriented, resilient, and capable of multitasking under pressure.
