Class Teacher – Fixed Term Contract St Mark’s CofE School is a thriving mainstream junior school for 360 pupils aged 7–11. Located on the same campus is Wyndham Park Infants’ School, a vibrant mainstream infant school with 270 pupils aged 4–7. We are a fantastic mainstream primary with an expanding SEND provision, and we are seeking a motivated, creative, and enthusiastic Class Teacher to join our team. Your Role The full job description provides further detail, but key responsibilities include: Demonstrating strong teaching practice, including effective preparation, planning, classroom management, and the ability to build positive working relationships with pupils and colleagues (or exposure to this in an HLTA/Senior TA role). Organising and directing the effective deployment of Teaching Assistants. Supporting the School Improvement Plan and contributing to the strategic vision set by the Headteacher and Local Governing Committee. Setting, reviewing, and recording individual pupil targets in collaboration with colleagues. Creating a stimulating, inclusive classroom environment where resources are accessible to all pupils.
