One of our clients, a leading Legal 500 firm based in Altrincham are on the look out for a Real Estate Finance Fee Earner/Solicitor.

The Role:
The Real Estate Finance Solicitor will play a key role in the team, advising institutional lenders, private equity funds, developers, and corporate borrowers on a full spectrum of property-backed financing deals. You will manage transactions from instruction through to post-completion, working closely with Partners and Senior Associates across the firm's network.
Key Responsibilities:
* Transaction Management: Lead and manage a varied caseload of secured lending transactions, including:
* Acquisition Finance for commercial property portfolios.
* Development Finance for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
* Investment Finance and refinancing across diverse asset classes (e.g., offices, student accommodation, logistics, and Build to Rent).
* Bridging/Short-term loans and complex funding structures.
* Documentation: Draft, review, and negotiate high-quality legal documentation, including Facility Agreements (often LMA-based), security documents, intercreditor agreements, and legal opinions.
* Due Diligence: Conduct and manage the property due diligence process, liaising with the core Real Estate, Planning, Construction, and Tax teams to provide a seamless service.
* Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international banks, financial institutions, and borrowers.
* Business Development: Actively contribute to business development initiatives and profile-raising activities for the team and the firm in the Manchester and wider North West market.
Requirements
* Either an experienced fee earner, managing and handling complex real estate financial files or qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with at least 1 year PQE in Real Estate Finance, gained at a reputable law firm.
* Proven technical expertise in real estate security and related documentation.
* Demonstrable experience acting for both lenders and borrowers on secured property lending transactions.
* Exceptional drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
* A high degree of commercial awareness and the ability to provide pragmatic, client-focused advice.
* Excellent organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
