We're recruiting for a Sales Advisor to join a fast-paced, supportive sales team based in Crewe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys building rapport with customers, working towards KPIs, and being part of a collaborative sales environment where success is recognised both individually and as a team. This organisation offers 2 varying shift patterns - Monday - Friday 08.50 - 17.20 or Monday - Thursday 09.00 - 19.30 Purpose of the Job The purpose of the Sales Advisor role is to proactively contact customers who have recently placed online e-commerce orders, with the aim of introducing and promoting brand alternatives or better pricing that offer better value for money. Using warm, order-triggered leads, you'll engage customers in consultative conversations to understand their needs and highlight suitable alternative products where appropriate. Success in the role is measured through sales performance, customer outcomes, and KPI achievement, with a strong emphasis on responsible selling and excellent customer care. This role offers a balance of individual accountability and team collaboration, supported by ongoing training, coaching, and development to maintain high standards of performance and product knowledge. Key Responsibilities Making outbound calls customers to promote own-brand products Managing warm leads and sales pipelines effectively Upselling products based on customer needs and requirements Delivering a professional, courteous, and customer-first experience on every call Achieving individual and team KPIs, including sales, call backs, and quality measures Scheduling call backs in line with agreed performance targets Using CRM and dialler systems to log activity, track progress, and measure success Collaborating closely with Customer Service and wider teams to maximise conversions Managing inbound queries where required and directing customers appropriately Maintaining strong product knowledge and keeping up to date with new launches Actively engaging in coaching, training sessions, and team discussions Sharing best practice, successes, and challenges to support team development Desired Skills and Experience Confident and professional telephone manner Sales-focused mindset with a genuine interest in helping customers Ability to work towards targets in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools A team player who's open to feedback, coaching, and continuous improvement Reliable, flexible, and willing to support colleagues when needed What's in it for you?
