About the Role:
Amber Labs is seeking a technically adept AI and Data Analyst to support a high-impact strategic programme within the public sector. This role will require a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Hub Integration
* Develop user stories and integrate digital tools to enhance strategic cycles.
* Apply analytics and AI to support data-driven decision-making.
* Guide users in interpreting data and generating actionable insights.
Technical & Strategic Advisory
* Translate user needs into technical solutions, epics, and developer tasks.
* Advise on tooling, development methodologies, and team composition.
* Act as a technical liaison with external partners and internal governance.
AI/Data Science Implementation
* Design, test, and deploy AI models aligned with strategic objectives.
* Validate model performance and ensure ethical compliance.
* Collaborate with developers to embed AI into operational workflows.
Ethical & Analytical Oversight
* Evaluate ethical implications of AI use and provide governance feedback.
* Ensure analytical validity and best practices in AI outputs.
Agile Delivery Participation
* Engage in Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, and Retrospectives.
* Identify and escalate impediments to the Scrum Master.
Training & Stakeholder Engagement
* Support training in data, analytics, and AI tailored to user needs.
* Represent AI/Data Science in high-level meetings.
* Act as a bridge between internal teams and external digital/data organisations.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Background in Data Science, AI, and Analytics.
* Experience in public sector environments is highly desirable.
* Comfortable working in agile teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
* Able to work flexibly and adapt to evolving project needs.

Our Talent Acquisition Team will be in touch to advise you on the next steps. We have a two-stage interview process for most of our consultants. In certain cases, we may include a third and final stage, which is a conversation with the company Partners. This will only be considered if deemed necessary.
