Responsibilities
Our Childrens' Ward provides compassionate care for babies, children and young people from 0 to 16 years of age, including care for a range of specialties and conditions including High Dependency Care. Our unit encompasses assessment, observation and treatment of patients and undertakes day case services for our communities. We also have dedicated Children"s Out-Patient departments. This ensures a rich variety of experiences and development for our staff.

Grantham and District Hospital serves the local community with ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services. Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have a Group arrangement known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG). The Group aims to improve care across Lincolnshire and will operate under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, while retaining separate statutory names and obligations.
