We are looking for a Vehicle Progress Chaser to join our client’s automotive team based in Long Bennington. This role offers the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to work within one of the UK’s leading automotive companies.
The Role:
The successful candidate will play a key role within the efficient running of the vehicle logistics team and will be responsible for, but not limited to, the below tasks:
1. Track and monitor the progress of vehicles through the repair process
2. Liaise with technicians, parts departments, and management to ensure timely completion of work
3. Identify delays or issues and escalate them promptly
4. Update internal systems and maintain accurate job status records
5. Communicate progress updates to relevant departments or customer service teams
6. Assist in prioritising workloads to meet deadlines and targets
7. Conduct regular checks on vehicles in the workshop to ensure work is progressing as planned
8. Support efficient workflow and minimise downtime
9. Communicate with clients and provide updates on vehicle deliveries.
The Person:
10. Previous experience in an automotive or workshop environment is preferred
11. Strong organisational and time management skills
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
13. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
14. Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach
15. Ability to work on your own as well as part of a team
16. Basic IT skills, including emails and spreadsheets
17. Must have Full UK Driving licence and own vehicle due to site location.
