Mobile Air Conditioning Engineer - Woking / South East
Mploy Group is recruiting for an experienced Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Service Engineer to join a progressive and forward-thinking business delivering high-quality HVAC solutions.
The role is primarily service-focused, with around 80% planned and reactive maintenance and 20% small installation works, covering client sites within a 60-mile radius of the Woking area. You’ll be working with a prestigious customer base across a wide range of sectors, including hospitality, logistics, education, retail, healthcare, and local authorities.

Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive service calls, and small installations across AC/HVAC systems.
* Diagnose faults, complete repairs and replacements, and undertake basic electrical fault finding.
* Ensure all works are delivered to the highest safety and compliance standards.
* Maintain accurate service documentation and reports.
* Provide a professional, customer-focused service at all times, offering recommendations for system improvements where relevant.
* Support the smooth operation and reliability of AC/HVAC assets across client sites.
Experience & Qualifications Required
* 2–3 years’ proven experience in AC/HVAC maintenance, installation, and fault-finding.
* City & Guilds 2079 or CITB J11 in Safe Handling of Refrigerants.
* NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds in Air Conditioning, Heating & Ventilation, or Service & Maintenance.
* IPAF/PASMA and Full UK Driving Licence required.
* Electrical qualifications preferred.
* Background in FM/building services within commercial settings.
* Strong awareness of Health & Safety and ability to work to strict standards.
* Excellent communication skills and a professional client-facing manner.
