Several Building Services Engineers are wanted on a permanent basis by a global Consultancy client of ours who is at the forefront of their industry and going through a real period of growth. In this role, the successful candidates will help provide world leading sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets.
These are permanent opportunities that includes a base salary of between £40,000 - £70,000 dependent upon the experience and qualifications plus bonus and benefits.
Overview of the Building Services Engineer role:
* You will be responsible for working on technical design aspects of small projects or components of larger projects, meeting financial, quality and timeframe objectives and meeting or exceeding client expectations.
* Working collaboratively with a multi-discipline design team, you will ensure the integration of the overall design or solution.
* Prepare accurate drawings, specifications, reports and other project documentation and ensure that your allocated activities are completed whilst meeting budget, timeframe and quality objectives, also ensuring that client expectations are met.
* You will also be able to apply your analytical, technical writing and design skills at project level and contribute to the resolution of technical issues on projects.
Key skills required for the Building Services Engineer role:
* A BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
* Previous experience in a similar role designing mechanical systems within buildings
* An understanding of the design of individual elements of a project and how it ultimately interfaces with the client.
* An understanding of budgetary requirements within a design project.
