Renacres Hospital, part of the Ramsay Health Care Group, is seeking an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to become part of our team.
The Role
Reporting to the Catering Supervisor, you will deliver a high standard of catering service as a member of the support services team. No prior experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided. However, experience in a fast-paced environment maintaining high standards is advantageous. If you possess excellent communication and customer service skills and seek a new challenge, this role offers the opportunity to develop and take on additional responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Obtain food and beverage orders from patients, staff, and visitors.
2. Assist in the preparation and serving of food to patients, staff, and visitors.
3. Maintain cleanliness of all catering department areas daily, adhering to standards.
4. Understand and ensure compliance with current health and hygiene regulations in food preparation and service.
Ideal Candidate
* Possess Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate for Catering (company-funded training available if not held).
* Willingness to work positively within a team to achieve goals and deliver excellent service.
* Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills.
* Friendly, outgoing personality with a keen eye for detail.
