Sales Manager - UK at Gauzy. Gauzy is a world-leading material science company focused on vision and light control technologies for safe, sustainable, and agile user experiences across industries. The role supports the growth and expansion of Gauzy’s architectural business, leading projects with top partners in windows and partitions glazing, and creating new leads and business opportunities in the UK office design industry.
Responsibilities
* Generate new business opportunities in the UK office design industry to increase demand for switchable/smart glass solutions.
* Drive new project acquisition in the partitions market and increase customer engagement within this sector.
* Establish, manage, and grow relationships with KA - KA-partition companies, fit-out companies, glass and film installers to ensure long-term cooperation.
* Engage with architects to promote Gauzy solutions, increase local market awareness, and drive the specification of Gauzy products in projects.
* Coordinate between customers and Smart Glass glazing partners in the UK to ensure seamless project delivery.
* Develop additional market segments, including healthcare, premium residential, hospitality, and other potential sectors.
* Collaborate with the international sales team to align on leads and opportunities, driving UK market growth.
* Manage orders and supervise their execution in cooperation with the Sales Operations department.
Requirements
* 5-7 years of experience managing large office development projects in the office design industry.
* Proven experience in selling partition/glass projects, with the ability to lead the full project lifecycle from sales through to delivery.
* Strong technical knowledge and hands-on approach, including the capability to perform top-level project supervision and ensure quality execution. BSc or MSc in interior design/architecture or a similar degree or certification indicating significant experience in the field.
* Experience in the commercial partitions industry.
* Must – ability to present a project to C-Level executives.
* Deep understanding of the office design industry and motivation to acquire new leads in that industry and other industries.
* Ability to work under pressure, be self-driven, flexible, and a fast learner.
* Advantage – experience in the Smart Glass industry.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
