Senior Project Manager – Commercial & Hospitality Construction

A fantastic opportunity is now available for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a dynamic and well-established business operating across the commercial, hospitality, leisure, and public sectors.
We’re hiring on behalf of our client – an award-winning design, build, and maintenance company – to bring on a hands-on, solutions-focused professional to manage and deliver major fit-out and construction projects across the UK, Channel Islands, and beyond.
This role requires someone with a strong track record of running large-scale commercial construction projects, ideally with experience in the hospitality sector. You’ll be responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of multiple high-value projects, managing programmes, budgets, subcontractors, and client relationships to ensure the smooth completion of each scheme.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee planning, coordination, and delivery of multiple projects from inception to completion
* Manage site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and labour in line with project requirements
* Produce detailed project programmes, site reports, and meeting minutes
* Attend and lead client and contract meetings
* Track and control project costs in collaboration with the Quantity Surveying team
* Monitor health & safety from pre-start through to handover
* Ensure compliance with H&S regulations and company standards across all sites
* Lead on snagging, handovers, and final close-out
* Drive commercial awareness and quality control throughout the build
* Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders
* Support continuous improvement and innovation across project delivery
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior PM delivering commercial or hospitality projects
* Experience managing high-value, multi-trade construction schemes across multiple sites
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, reactive environment
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills
* Self-motivated with a proactive, hands-on approach
* Strong IT skills, including MS Project, Excel, and Outlook
* Relevant qualifications in construction or project management
* SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Gold), and First Aid ()
* Willingness to travel and stay away as required
