Role responsibilities:
Supporting the Company Secretary by attending meetings
Drafting and/or reviewing minutes and following up on key action points
Providing timely governance advice when required
Statutory compliance – responsible for ensuring the maintenance of statutory records and registers for entities
Ensuring the timely submission of statutory filings including to Companies House and anywhere else required
Assisting in the production and approval of the Annual Report and Accounts
Maintain the annual governance and compliance calendar.
Assisting and advising the Chair, Chief Executive and the Executive Team on company secretarial-related matters.
Supporting key Company Secretary projects such as a Governance Review and external board evaluation
Assisting with the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the delivery of charity and subsidiary company meetings and associated procedural requirements in line with good governance.
Assisting in the maintenance of governing documents recommending changes as necessary to reflect changing strategic, legal and best practice requirements.
Role requirements:
Able to start a new role before the start of August 2025
Qualified Company Secretary (desirable)
2+ years of experience in a governance or company secretarial role
